Global Echoes on Guangdong | Erik Solheim: The GBA will be a center for global economic development

“Guangdong is home to some of the most extraordinary companies in China and the world.” Erik Solheim, Former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations paid a lot of attention to the entrepreneurship in Guangdong.
During the “Two Sessions” of 2025, Erik Solheim conducted an interview with SFC journalist. He indicated that Guangdong is absolutely a central economic development region in the country, and the project about Pearl River Delta region is more and more integrating Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and many other cities into one economic area.
