Global Echoes on Guangdong | Stephen Brawer: Guangdong will continue with fascinating developement

“Guangdong is a fascinating aspect of the development story and I think it will definitely continue into the coming years.” Stephen Brawer, the Chairman of the Belt and Road Institute in Sweden shared his views on Guangdong with SFC journalist during the “Two Sessions” of 2025.

Apart from the long history and cultural atmosphere, Stephen Brawer also noted the research and innovation ability of Guangdong by visiting Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City in Guangzhou. He stated that “It's a very important model for new quality productive forces that are emerging.”
